Threadfin Bream, commonly known as Kilimeen/Chengavaal in Thailand or Itoyoridai in Japan, is a frequently consumed seafood. It is one of the most commercially important species of Asia countries.
Our Threadfin Bream are caught in southern Vietnam seas. Available all year round with peak production during summer and fall. Each year, we export a considerable volume Frozen Threadfin Breams (Common Threadfin Bream, Golden Threadfin Bream, etc) to Asia countries.
Available sizes are 100 / 150 / 200 / 300 / up (gr/pc).
Raw Threadfin bream having an elongated & toned body with pink/bright purple, silvery scales.
Cooked Threadfin bream has fine-textured flesh and a sweet, delicate flavour. Threadfin bream meat are firm, tasty, nutritional, rich Omega 3 fatty acids, good content of Vitamin B6 and B12, biocin and niacin.
It is also rich in minerals like zinc, potassium, iron and phosphorus. The good ways to cook the Threadfin Bream are steaming, baking, grilled, tempura or sushi in Japanese cuisine.
